Palazzo Vecchio

... the old palace, is Florence's Town Hall.It was completed in 1322. Around it is the Piazza dell Signoria. There are many amazing statues here.

 
 
  This sculpture is called 'The Rape of the Sabine Wome' and was carved from one piece of flawed marble by Giambologna in 1583.
