Its a long way to .....

Twas a rainy day in Tipp (what else is there?) as Les Girls from Monkstown Golf Club took a day out in Ballykisteen Golf and Spa in the famed town on Friday. We played a fourball scramble - well the others did! My team had only three players so we had to employ a 'ghost' player, whom we named 'Jake' - his extra leg came in handy! I was the designated player of the extra shots so ended getting twice the value for money. with 79 gross, our team was third net. We had a great sing song in the bar after dinner. I even brought a violin along and ended up playing Frank sinatra (instead of the Franc Sonata!) late into the evening - including the following morning.
