Honey-mooners at last alone!

After many months of entertaining everyone, Jane and Charlie at last have escaped for a while - but only on an excuse of a flute festival in Adelaide. They say they´re NOT on honey-moon!

King´s Park Spring wildflower festival

Monday was a bank holiday this week - the Queen´s Birthday, an official day off in WA - not in the other states mind you! We went to King´s Park to view the beautiful wiild flowers. It was a cloudy day - happily we felt at home!

Kar's first big outing

We took Kar (our new car) to the coast on Saturday for its first big outing. We had a picnic in the little park and went for a long walk along the pathway. Too early yet for swimming - tough it did reach 20 degrees in the afternoon - summer has started.
