Italy

We are looking forward to our forthcoming trip to Italy in March. Have a look at this link to see our apartment. Wonder if it'll be warm enough for a dip in this pool?
The apartment is in the hills near Greve in the Chianti region in Tuscany, close enough to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and other fascinating places neither of us have been in before Should be fun.

Fota Island Golf Resort

The CIT Golfing Society had a day out in Fota golfing resort recently Amazingly, we had a dry, non-windy, no-raining day with even a spot of sunshine (briefly!). Was it Ground Hog day? - we saw our shadows for the first time this year!

The clubhouse in the distance over the hills. Check out the website here.

The 18th tee for men involves a huge drive across a lake.
Luckily, the ladies tee is on the other side of the lake!

In the third photo here you can see the MEd in the distance from the course. The La Foret course, the best course in the Citrus complex, is very hilly, giving great views across the countryside and out ot the sea.

This was a very quiet week. No nasty children to make noise ....

Wandering around with the camera phone after breakfast is very pleasant.

Tunisia again.

I had a week off school ths week, so we popped off to Tunisia again. This is the view from my bed every morning at about 6.45 am as the sun rises out of the Med. This is why I like to go there ... bright sunshine from the start of every day.
